ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ Ḥafṣah, the wife of the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him said, "I did not see the Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, offer his voluntary prayer while sitting until a year before his death, peace and blessings of God be upon him, when indeed he used to offer his voluntary prayer while sitting, and he used to recite the chapter and to adorn its recitation, to the extent that it took longer [to recite] than longer chapters (had they been read without recitation)." ”
